Very smart and emotional introduction from Israel Horovitz, American theater scriptwriter, Godfather of the exhibition Obama's America in Paris for the opening on friday the 14th of september, at Dorothy's gallery :
"I am pleased to be the American Godfather of the American Center for the Arts' project to support the re-election of President Obama.
The events of the past few days in Libya and Egypt strengthen my commitment to support our President's bid for a 2nd term.
When President Obama referred to Romney and Ryan as being "new to foreign policy", the irony was clear.
Romney's knee-jerk reaction to the murders in Libya should suffice to convince any sensible voter that Romney is unfit to lead our country in this troubled world. In Barack Obama, we have a leader who is liked and respected around the globe ... as we did during Bill Clinton's 8 years in the White House.
The Bush Jr years were a nightmare for all Americans -- Republicans and Democrats alike.
I am convinced that electing Mitt Romny will return us to that nightmare ... or worse.
I am equally convinced that Barack Obama can and will lead our country back to stability and world leadership. I urge all Americans living in France to go beyond supporting Barack Obama.
I urge you to actually register and cast your vote to re-elect our President.
The election will be close.
Your vote will count."
